Don’t often post reviews, but will do so for this dress.Dress was received in the time it was advertised.Dress was true to color as advertised. Cobalt.Dress was a little thin in material but was comfortable and adequate to wear for Christmas dinner in the Northeast. And it kept its shape throughout a long day.The turtleneck portion was comfortable. Not too tight nor too loose. Sleeves and cuffs the same.It is definitely body tight where All curves and bulges are revealed. My main issue was to remember to stand straight so that my bra and panty-lines wouldn’t show (bc of the Thin material) - it worked..The length for my 5’2” height hit perfectly at mid calf.As leery as I was in ordering this dress on-line from Amazon, it really did meet all my expectations. Right size, right length, beautiful color, was comfortable, held its form, was dressy for the occasion. Not one to tout, but actually surprised how good this dress looked on me. Was also complimented by others. so I say for me, this was a pretty successful purchase.
I've purchased this in 5 colors! It's my new go to! The fabric is stretchy and forgiving because of the ribs in it it can hide your tummy. I pear the dress for now in the winter with boots and a fun scarf. It's very comfortable, warm, but not too hot, and can be dressed up or down. I get the most compliments when wearing the black and red. The red is vavavoom and draws attention, making it look like you're all dressed up but it's just a sweater dress thats comfy and cozy. highly recommend.
I like this dress! It fits very well. The quality is pretty nice and thick. It is a great product for not a crazy price! I really like the ribbed texture as well, I think it adds a lot to the dress.
This item is perfect for a winter dress! The length is great & classy. The material is true sweater, and it is true to size. I am 5’6; 165lbs and got a Medium size!
This fit all expectations very comfortable. True to size. Love the color.
I love the fit and the color. It is very flattering. I am 5’7” and 135 lbs. Looking forward to wearing it in March for a wedding. It’s a great dress.
The dress is too long and hits tea length on me. I'm 5'6". Not flattering for a body con dress in this material. Would be great on someone taller or if you can have it hemmed.
This sweater dress was made well. It is not see through and its a medium weight sweater. I loved the length and the mock neck style.
Shortened review: I usually wear smalls, got this in small, and the waist is baggy. I like things fitted so not my fave dress ever. Neck is itchy and sleeves are super short. But looks and fits well enough to wear as a work uniform until I can afford something better and will probably continue to wear casually with a jacket or sweater over top.The long version:I am almost 5’0”, 128lbs. 32DDD, usually wear a 25 or 27 in Levi’s (depending on where I’m at in my cycle) and a small in tops, small or medium in bottoms, and I got this in a small. For my main job (I am a teacher) this style is great in this size! Loose enough around the waist to be a lil forgiving if I’m bloated but it also looks a tiny bit sloppy to me at all other times. Outside of work I’d like to wear this in an extra small. The length is perfect. Even in a small, I find myself needing to wear a t-string so lines from my undergarments don’t show despite it being a little loose at the waist. It shrank a bit after being washed and put through the dryer 3 times now but not enough. For the first time in my life, I’ve found an adult garment with sleeves that are too.. short???? Weird. I don’t have unusually long arms and can normally find clothes in the kids’ dept for sweaters with long enough sleeves so idk what’s going on with this dress! Also, the seam around the neck has something woven in that makes my skin sooooo itchy!! It feels almost plastic-y. Can’t put my finger on it but it could be whatever they use to seal the hem at the neck. As someone with sensory sensitivities, just on that alone I would never have chosen it if I had gotten the chance to try it in in person first. I had to keep it because I needed to wear it as a uniform for my second job (pls pay teachers more lol) the day it arrived and didn’t have any alternatives/time/money to get something else.Might try and buy in an xs when I have the means to do so since I didn’t really see many others mention the itchy neck. Maybe I got a dud??
Just received my dress. I bought the magenta one in Large. I’m 5’5”, about 185 pounds, hourglass figure with a booty and 36DDD. Typically in between a size 12 and 14 as of late, and almost always between a Large and XL due to my boobs. I read the reviews, as I always do, before choosing my size as well as looked over the sizing chart. Because people said it ran big and that was consistent with the size chart, I opted for the Large. It’s still big on me, which I’m ok with, because I don’t like too tight that I look like a hootchie or that it shows my problem areas (belly fat, thicker upper arms and thighs). Still, I would wear some shape wear underneath to suck my belly in a little bit more. I could have definitely gotten a Medium and it would have probably fit great, but I would feel less confident, even with shape ware, due to my belly. Otherwise, very flattering. Not see-through, but still recommend wearing coordinating colors underneath to avoid a very slight thinning of the material where it stretches (like over boobs/butt). Feels warm and not itchy. Mock turtleneck is great for the Autumn/Winter seasons, but also as a transition into Spring. Would look great with heels, but as I’ve gotten older, I’m more into boots. Layer with a jacket or maybe even a poncho. A belt would really bring it together as it is a bit big. Again, I LOVE the color. I’m generally more into natural earthy colors, but occasionally get something brighter as a statement piece and I’m really happy with my choice. I would probably buy more colors for an upgraded Winter wardrobe -I had my eye on the plum one as well as a few others. Not sure how it will hold up in the wash or after a few wears, so will likely wait and see before deciding on more. Overall, I feel happy with my purchase. Would recommend.
